AR-15 uppers are often treated as plug-and-play, but correct assembly requires proper tools, correct specifications, and disciplined technique. This FREE hands-on course focuses on assembling an AR-15 upper receiver correctly so it functions reliably and holds up over time.
The course walks through the tools required for proper assembly, how individual components are specified, and how those specifications change based on barrel length and gas system configuration. Particular attention is paid to correct installation methods and torque values to avoid common reliability and longevity issues. You may bring your own parts and complete them during this course. Be sure to also sign up for our AR-15 LOWER Build Course which immediately PRECEEDS this one on the same day.
Topics covered include:
This course is instructional and technical in nature and is intended to give students a clear understanding of how and why upper receiver components are assembled the way they are.
