Being prepared doesn’t just mean to prepare for emergencies, it also means being prepared for a day out hunting.  Nothing is worse than seeing that perfect deer and you don’t have anything with you to capture it.

Below is a brief list of the hunting seasons and regulations:

Crows (Statewide) – October 12th – 20th and November 28th – January 11th

Alligator (Zone & Quota Limited) September 7th

Squirrel (Statewide) – August 15th – February 28th

Rabbit (Statewide) November 16th – February 28th

Fox & Bobcat (Statewide) December 1 – February 28th

Dove (Statewide) October 12th – 20th

Opossum (Statewide) – October 15th – February 28th

Raccoon (Statewide) – October 15th – February 28th

Trapping  (Statewide) – December 1st – February 28th (otter, fox, bobcat, weasel, muskrat, mink and skunk)

Deer (Archery, Statewide) – September 14th – October 11th

  • Primitive Weapons – October 12th – 18th
  • Firearms – October 19th – December 1st

Bear (Northern Zone) – September 14th – October 11th

  • Primitive Weapons – October 12th – 18th
  • Firearms – October 19th – December 1st
