Toys for Tots accepts new, unwrapped toys, books, and other items to help disadvantaged children:
- Toys: Action figures, dolls, Nerf guns, puzzles, baby toys, and more
- Books: Children receive two toys and three books count as one gift
- Other items: Sporting equipment, backpacks, cosmetics, purses, board games, radio control cars, skateboards, bicycles, and more
- Toys for Tots does not accept used or open toys, clothes, food, or liquids.
- Toys For Tots is a top-rated charity, with 97% of donations going directly to donating toys for children.
Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each Christmas holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime. We believe it is such experiences that help disadvantaged children become responsible citizens and caring members of their community. Each year, the Marine Corps fulfills the holiday hopes and dreams of an average of 7 million less fortunate children in nearly 800 communities nationwide.
