While we carry a full complement of firearms at competitive prices, we understand there are times you may need to purchase from another dealer.  At TRUPREP, we understand that purchasing a firearm is an important decision, and we’re here to ensure the process is smooth and compliant.

An FFL transfer (Federal Firearms License transfer) is a necessary step when you buy a firearm from an online retailer or an out-of-state dealer. Instead of having the firearm shipped directly to your home, it will be sent to our licensed facility. 

Our FFL Transfer Process
First you must register your transfer with us so we can send our license to the dealer sending the firearm.

When your firearm arrives at TRUPREP, you’ll need to visit us to complete the required paperwork and undergo a background check. This process is vital for ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations, promoting responsible gun ownership.

Fees and Pickup
We charge a modest fee of $20 for this FFL transfer service, which is due when you pick up your firearm. This fee helps us cover the time and effort involved in processing and auditing the necessary documentation.

Please Note
We process transfers in a timely manner and we kindly ask for a couple days to process incoming transfers. We’ll notify you as soon as your firearm is ready for pickup. Thank you for choosing TRUPREP, and for your understanding and patience! Don’t assume it is ready when you received a delivery notice. Most notification issues arise from incorrect phone numbers or email addresses.  Also be sure to check your spam folder.
