Personal Security: Protecting Yourself & Loved Ones
Personal security is not about fear or paranoia—it’s about awareness, preparation, and sound decision-making. This workshop provides a practical discussion on personal safety considerations for protecting yourself and your loved ones in everyday life, both at home and while out in public.
The session emphasizes situational awareness, recognizing potential threats before they escalate, and understanding how environment, behavior, and mindset influence personal safety. Attendees will be encouraged to think more deliberately about how they move through the world, assess risk, and avoid unnecessary danger whenever possible.
This class is designed to be approachable, realistic, and focused on foundational concepts that apply across a wide range of situations, without fear-based messaging or tactical instruction.
Taught by our beloved ‘Shep’ who has served careers with the military, homeland security, and law enforcement with decades of experience to draw from, you will walk away from this workshop with a new perspective on providing security for yourself and your family. Shep is a captivating instructor and you will enjoy ever minute of it.
